A programme upgrading practising B.Pharm pharmacists to the Doctor of Pharmacy level, adding contemporary clinical knowledge and skills.

Graduates become value-added pharmacists in hospitals, community pharmacy, regulation and public health. Requires a B.Pharm, 2+ years' practice, good standing with a regulator, and an interview.

Accreditation: Recognised by the Pharmacy Council of Ghana.

How you’ll study

Scientific base. Early years establish pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences as the platform for clinical work.

Pharmaceutical sciences. You move into deeper laboratory and pharmaceutical science before clinical subjects take centre stage.

Clinical practice. Later years emphasise therapeutics and supervised hospital and community placements under licensed preceptors.
