Using the Library
Borrowing, simply.
Borrowing & renewals
- Students, lecturers and staff can borrow books for a set loan period
- General Collection items may be renewed twice, unless requested by another patron — renew before the due date
- Inter-library lending: staff will source books from any CU library, or partner libraries, on request
- Reserve a checked-out book at the Circulation Desk with a valid ID — held for 10 days once returned
House rules
- Silence at all times; phones on silent
- No food, smoking or offensive weapons in the Library
- Seats cannot be reserved
- Handle materials with care — damage or loss is paid for by the borrower
- Library staff may inspect items being taken out
