Who We Are
The International Programmes Office.
Formerly the Centre for International Relations and Programmes (CIRP), the IPO is Central's central coordinating office for international affairs — the first point of contact for prospective and current international students, partner institutions, researchers and visiting scholars. Guided by Central's founding convictions of Faith, Integrity and Excellence, the Office promotes academic excellence through global partnerships and strengthens the University's international visibility.

International academic collaborations, joint research initiatives, Memoranda of Understanding, faculty development programmes and international conferences that promote innovation and academic excellence.
Student & Staff Mobility
Student exchange programmes, staff and faculty mobility, visiting scholars and professors, and international institutional partnerships that expand opportunities for the CU community.

Partnerships & Exchanges
Building Central's global network.
The IPO has established relationships with universities and institutions worldwide — from Erasmus+ staff mobility with Kastamonu University in Türkiye to recent institutional visits across three continents.
Academic Collaboration in Action
Workshop for Central University and 4 German universities.
On 25 April 2024, the Department of Economics and Development hosted a workshop in the New Senate Room, inviting the IPO to grace the event. Seventeen business, logistics and economics students from four German universities joined 25 CU staff and students for a session on "Making Global Agricultural Supply Chains Sustainable" — sparking dialogue on how future decision-makers can become sustainability ambassadors in their fields, and giving CU students a platform to share their own perspective on global agricultural supply chains.
